It is one of the strongest coupling types. It consists of joining two opposite male parts (1) with a star-shaped elastic spacer (2). Since the elastic part can be observed from the outside, it can be intervened immediately in case of deterioration. It can be used safely in systems where vibration is high, due to the large cross-section of the elastic part. For maintenance, it is sufficient to visually check whether the elastic spacer is deformed. Since the feet of the coupling are fully machined, it works without gaps.
