It is the invariable favorite coupling of hydraulic pumps. Thanks to its tight teeth, it provides great ease of assembly. It is not suitable for vibration because the plastic sleeve is rigid and transmits the vibration to the engine. When the elastic part is broken, the coupling does not break, the system stops, the elastic sleeve is replaced and the work continues. It is generally used in hydraulic systems, engine-pump power transmission or transmission of engine power to another place. Both spindle axes must be aligned. Axial or angular misalignments that may occur over time, if the connection is made with an elastic clutch, the motor or the driven element will not be damaged. The clutch consists of a steel gear attached to the driving and driven shafts and a polyamide part connecting them, and in case of stress, the plastic element breaks down and acts as a fuse.
