Rocker Gasket

Automobiles are made up of very complex systems. At the center of these systems is the engine. Basically, in cars using internal combustion engines, very serious heat emerges. Accordingly, many parts are used. At the top of the engine cylinder block, the part where the ends of the valves are located is called the rocker arm. The shafts and springs that enable the valves to open and close are located in this compartment. Since the engine lubrication system lubricates this compartment as well, it is closed with a cover called the rocker cover. A rocker cover gasket is also used to prevent the oil from leaking out. It is not a strong and heat resistant gasket like the engine cylinder top block gasket, it is a cork gasket. When it wears out over time, it should be replaced with a new one.
