PIR-ALU® panels are designed and produced by Poliuretanos SA, with Polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam inside and covered with aluminum foil on both sides, especially for the manufacture of air ducts. The product provides the possibility of manufacturing long ducts with the ease of manufacturing air ducts in different shapes and minimum number of connections. PIR-ALU® panels are long-lasting, light, decorative, easy to manufacture and install, hygienic and provide high thermal insulation and high indoor air quality. It can be used in the interior and exterior of the building, it can be painted. Thanks to the lightness of PIR-ALU® pre-insulated air duct panels, transportation, manufacturing and installation are very easy and do not burden the building; it is decorative with its concealed flange system and can be used easily in places without suspended ceilings; There is no condensation on it due to its high thermal insulation feature, its surfaces are covered with aluminum with a minimum purity of 99%, so it does not rust and is therefore suitable for use in humid environments; It is hygienic thanks to the 2 g/m antibacterial polyester lacquer on it and can be used in projects in the health sector. ADVANTAGES

SUPERIOR FLAME REACTION
Polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam protects the interior of the foam in contact with flame thanks to its carbon cell structure. Thus, the ignition rate is progressively slowed down and the smoke output is very low. The product structure often chars instead of turning into smoke. PIR foam is difficult to burn.

CLEAN AIR TRANSPORT
Since the inner surface of the duct is made of aluminum with a minimum purity of 99% that does not allow condensation or accumulation of dust microorganisms, the air circulating in the duct is always kept in the cleanest form. The only precaution to be taken is the use of antibacterial silicone. CONDENSATION The high thermal insulation feature of PIR-ALU® panels prevents condensation on both surfaces of the panel. Even in the most extreme weather conditions, the outer surface of the panel remains intact. Likewise, the aluminum coating acts as a water vapor barrier, preventing the internal insulation from being destroyed by water particles.

HIGH PERFORMANCE
Air ducts manufactured with PIR-ALU® panels significantly increase the performance of your ventilation installation, thanks to its low heat conduction (λ=0.024 W/mK according to EN 12667 standard). In addition to the waterproof feature of the product, heat loss and air leaks at the connection points are minimized. PIR-ALU® panels TS-EN 1507 and CEN/TC156/WG3N207 Section 4.3. It has Class C sealing according to 4a (European Committee for Standardization - CEN) standards.

ACCESSORIES / TOOLS

Pre-insulated ducts are combined with PVC slider in the form of a concealed flange system, and reinforcement is provided with corner metal at the ends of the flanges. U, F and h type aluminum profiles are accessories that help to perform works such as grille mounting and device connections. During the production, silicone and foil tape are used as well as the special adhesive produced in accordance with the bonding of PIR foam.
