The application we call sheathing is the thermal insulation application that can be made inside and outside the building in order to prevent the formation of thermal bridges and to ensure the continuity of the insulation. Exterior jacketing is the most suitable thermal insulation system in terms of building physics. Sheathing is the covering of the outer shell of the building with thermal insulation materials (EPS, Rockwool, XPS) in order to prevent heat losses and gains according to seasonal conditions.

HOW LONG DOES THE COATTING WORK?

Sheathing application takes an average of 1-4 weeks for a medium-sized building. Weather conditions, the size of the building, the number of personnel to work in the application can affect this period positively or negatively. Sheathing should not be applied in strong wind, fog or rainy weather conditions. The most ideal time is the period when the external surface to be applied and the ambient temperature are at least +5 degrees.
