OSTİM Yatırım A.Ş., in order to enhance its support for SMEs through different models, established the OSTİM Venture Capital Investment Fund (OSTİM GSYF) in cooperation with Albaraka Portföy Yönetim A.Ş. The establishment of the fund was authorized by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) with its letter dated February 11, 2022.
With the enactment of Law No. 7263 on Technology Development Zones and Amendments to Certain Laws;
Companies holding an R&D and Design Center certificate under Law No. 5746, whose “R&D and Design deduction” amount utilized in their 2021 corporate tax return is 1 Million or more,
Companies operating in Technology Development Zones under Law No. 4691, whose “income exemption” amount utilized in their 2021 corporate tax return is 1 Million or more,
It has been made mandatory to use 2% of the utilized R&D and Design tax credit or income exemption amount to purchase shares in Venture Capital Investment Funds established to invest in entrepreneurs residing in Turkey, to contribute as capital to Venture Capital Investment Partnerships, or to contribute as capital to entrepreneurs operating in Incubation Centers under Law No. 4691.
