It takes all necessary precautions to eliminate work accidents and occupational diseases that may arise from these hazards. When hazards cannot be eliminated, it investigates and implements less hazardous working methods and techniques.

KSE MINING implements the most effective engineering practices in risk management. It spares no effort or dedication in this regard, and utilizes all kinds of scientific and technological advancements.

KSE MINING prefers a proactive rather than reactive approach to occupational safety. To this end, it seeks professional support in risk assessment studies when necessary. It meticulously applies appropriate methodologies in these studies. By implementing the measures specified in the risk assessment reports as soon as possible and ensuring their continuous application, it consistently and effectively supports minimizing the severity and probability of risk.

KSE MINING sets measurable, realistic, achievable, and time-bound goals in its projects aimed at achieving sustainable success.

KSE MINING provides its employees with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that meets (EN) Standards and (CE) Certificates. In determining the appropriate PPE, it conducts or commissions a "Job Risk Analysis" that evaluates the employee's working environment and conditions. During the PPE sample testing process, it manages the procurement process by considering the employee's comfort, convenience, and preferences.

KSE MINING implements internal and external audit systems within the company. Internal audits are conducted using a cross-method by internal departments. External audits are carried out in three stages.

Stage 1: Regulatory Compliance Audit

Stage 2: Company Standards Compliance Audit

Stage 3: Behavioral Risk Audit (BRA)

The Elmar Index is applied in all three audits. If a score of 70 out of 100 is achieved in the audit, the next audit is initiated. Thanks to these audits, a process is initiated in Occupational Safety that is not just documented, but applied in the field and translated into employee behavior.

After completing occupational safety training, all our employees will be able to identify hazards, choose the necessary methods for mitigation, and fill out the "Hazard and Occupational Safety Suggestion Form" and the "Accident/Incident Reporting Form".

All employees at KSE MINING facilities have learned the basic knowledge and skills required for fire response. They are able to identify fires and select the appropriate fire extinguisher according to the type of fire.
