OSTİM Business and Construction Machinery Cluster (İŞİM) has started the third phase of its International Competitiveness Development (URGE) project with an International Marketing and Commercial Intelligence Training. The training covered how 29 participating companies can conduct accurate and effective customer and competitor analyses in the global market.

OSTİM Business and Construction Machinery Cluster (İŞİM) has started the third phase of its International Competitiveness Development (URGE) project with an International Marketing and Commercial Intelligence Training. The training covered how to conduct accurate and effective customer and competitor analyses in the global market for the 29 participating companies.

Commercial intelligence methods have become one of the most important topics for our domestic producers in exports. İŞİM, which is implementing its third URGE project, started its project activities with International Marketing and Commercial Intelligence Training.

In order to survive and remain competitive in global markets, many companies worldwide are working on competition and intelligence methods. İŞİM, through its training programs, introduces its members to commercial intelligence databases that have gained significant attention globally and have become even more powerful with countries opening up their customs information.

The 2-day, 16-hour training aimed to equip İŞİM members with the ability to identify target markets worldwide for their products, determine target customers in those countries, and develop strategic marketing plans by accessing information on their target competitors. At the end of the training, participants received certificates, and the Product & Market matrix shaped the target markets for each company's product group.

The hands-on training covered the following topics: Target Market Identification, Customer and Competitor Identification, Use of Commercial Intelligence Channels, and Data Analysis.
