For the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, developing in a manner that is compatible with nature, all natural resources, and the environmental order, increasing energy efficiency, and being aware of the need for the sustainability of natural resources constitutes an industrial philosophy. Under these headings, the "Green Transformation and Sustainability Office" has been established to determine professional strategies, implement these strategies, and contribute to the development of our country and its future mission.

With the aim of creating an industrial model that is fully integrated with nature, not against it, we provide services to industrial establishments in OSTİM to integrate them with nature in the most appropriate way, to design industry to be fully embedded in the renewable natural resource cycle, and to continuously improve it within this cycle.

What is Green Transformation?

Essentially developed to address climate change and the efficient use of resources, this concept encompasses both economic and environmental sustainability. In this context, the development of industry in a way that is compatible with nature, all natural resources, and the environmental order should always be our top priority. When we efficiently utilize renewable and clean energy, make the most of daylight, and optimally meet our heating and electricity needs, a green transformation in industry will have taken place.

What is sustainability?

Sustainability means ensuring the continuity of human life while maintaining production and diversity. A sustainable environmental approach centers on the principle that existing resources are not unlimited and aims to maximize the use of raw materials used for production according to needs. In this context, the efficient use of natural resources is vital for maintaining the world order and life on Earth.

Ongoing Work

Our office is currently managing four projects under the Ministry of Industry and Technology's World Bank-funded Organized Industrial Zones Turkey Project. These are: a Solar Power Plant, the Conversion of Street Lighting to LED Technology, Fiber Communication Infrastructure between Transformers and Distribution Centers, and the OSTİM Digital Transformation Center projects. The aim of all these projects is to ensure energy efficiency, which is a fundamental aspect of green transformation and sustainability. Thus, in our region, which has international brand value as a solution center for meeting national needs, we will both strengthen our service provider capabilities and prepare our industrialists for future market conditions.
