Electricity Subscription Procedures

Using electricity without a subscription in your own name constitutes illegal electricity usage.

Subscribers who do not obtain a Business Opening and Operating License within a maximum of 1 month from the subscription date will have their electricity cut off.

RESIDENTIAL SUBSCRIPTION

You must apply to the Subscription Services office with the required documents listed below for your subscription.

  1. Copy of rental agreement or title deed 2. Copy of ID card 3. Mandatory Earthquake Insurance

NOTE: Documents will be in one copy only.

BUSINESS SUBSCRIPTION

  • CONSTRUCTION SITE SUBSCRIPTION

For plots of land with a construction permit, the approved site electrical project and its attachments must be submitted to the Subscriber Affairs Department by your project firm as an acceptance file.

Once your application is accepted, please contact the Subscribers Department with the documents listed below to complete your subscription.

  2. Photocopy of signature specimen

  3. Photocopy of the trade registry gazette.

  4. Photocopy of company representative's ID.

  5. Power of attorney for signatures made by proxy

  6. Tax registration certificate

  7. Industrial registration certificate

  8. Occupancy permit (building permit for construction site) for the initial subscription.

  9. Business opening and operating license application declaration form

  • FIRST-TIME ELECTRICITY SUBSCRIPTION FOR BUSINESSES

For plots of land that have obtained an occupancy permit, your project firm must prepare an acceptance file containing the approved electrical project and its attachments and submit it to the Subscriber Affairs Office.

After acceptance, the Subscriber must submit the following documents to complete the subscription process.

  • SUBSCRIBER CHANGE

New businesses vacating premises that previously had electricity subscriptions but were subsequently disconnected and evicted.

Please contact the Subscription Services department with the documents listed below to process your subscription.

  • TERMINATION PROCEDURES

If you are vacating your premises, you must contact the Subscriber Services department to terminate any subscriptions you have been using in your name.
