Turgut Altınok, the Cumhur Alliance's candidate for Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, and Abdulkadir Aydoğan, the candidate for Yenimahalle Municipality Mayor, visited OSTİM (Ankara Organised Industrial Zone), meeting with industrialists for consultations, sharing their projects, and listening to their views, suggestions, and requests.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting held in the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Conference Hall, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Board Chairman Orhan Aydın said, “OSTİM is a center that can transform Ankara into an industrial hub, like an incubator. We aim for our region to be not just a place for ordinary businesses, but one that produces technology and brings together technology and knowledge, and we are striving for its development in this direction. Our companies' products can compete with the world. Our companies have to export their products. Thanks to the clusters created by OSTİM, you can see OSTİM companies and OSTİM products at fairs in many parts of the world.”
Yenimahalle mayoral candidate Abdulkadir Aydoğan stated that he knows Yenimahalle very well, having visited every street and alley in the district, and that he is seeking to serve the community with his projects.
Turgut Altınok, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate, emphasized that OSTİM makes significant contributions to the Turkish economy.
Altınok stated: “We will make Ankara the center of industry and trade. Ankara is our capital, the center of our country. We have advantages in road, air, and rail transportation, but unfortunately, Ankara has not been able to reach its full potential in industry and trade. Many of our provinces have more Organized Industrial Zones than the capital. The capital needs more areas. Therefore, the vision and support of the mayors are important. Mayors plan the future of the city and are also the ones who foresee its future. We will build new Organized Industrial Zones, we will work together. We will sit down and talk with our industrialists. We will provide all kinds of support. We will spend the money of the people of Ankara on Ankara. The more Organized Industrial Zones there are, the more income our city will generate.”
Altınok promised that the exhibition center, which is on Ankara's agenda, will be completed within one year.
