ARUS, along with 12 of its members, participated in the TRAKO Fair in Poland, the second largest rail systems fair in Europe, as part of the 3rd International Competitiveness Development (UR-GE) project supported by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey.

ARUS members gained insights into developing railway technologies at the fair and also had the opportunity to meet with potential customers one-on-one. The delegation conducted 281 bilateral business meetings at the fair.

The working group meeting for ARUS's second EU COSME Project, STARS, was also held at the fair.

TCDD – TÜBİTAK RUTE collaboration brings Innovation Award

Within the scope of the fair, the European Innovation Award Ceremony, organized by the European Rail Union (ERCI), of which ARUS is a member, was also held. ARUS, a member of the Union, won the European Innovation Award with its “Vehicle Identification System” developed in cooperation with the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) and TUBITAK RUTE. Thus, ARUS, repeating its award success in recent years with its members Aselsan, Enekom and Bozankaya, became the first and only cluster in our country to receive the European Innovation Award for the 4th time.

ARUS members also visited the Polish Pomerania Investment Agency to learn about investment incentives in the region, the state of the railway sector, and potential collaborations. Officials from the Gdansk Chamber of Commerce also attended the meeting, which focused on the processes and incentives necessary for companies to invest and collaborate in Poland.

ARUS members, who also visited the control center at the Pomeranian PKM Railway company, held detailed discussions about the company's needs and the sector.
