ATAMEKEN Extends an Invitation to Investors in OSTIM.

Abubakirov Askar, Director of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ATAMEKEN), said, "We can help investors from Turkey and OSTİM to make quick, safe, and accurate investments by providing them with information about our region and country."

Abubakirov Askar, the Turkestan Province and Shymkent Director of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (ATAMEKEN), and accompanying businessmen visited OSTİM.

During the meeting, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager Adem Arıcı briefed the Kazakh delegation on the establishment of the zone and its ongoing activities. Highlighting OSTİM's history spanning over 50 years, Arıcı stated, "We have 50 years of experience here. We possess a wealth of knowledge regarding how the zone and businesses should be. We are ready to share this knowledge with you."

Abdullah Çörtü, General Manager of OSTİM Industrial Investments and Operations Inc., explained the work they are doing to transfer the OSTİM model to Shymkent, Kazakhstan.

Dr. Kayhan Olanca, Coordinator of the Rubber Technologies Cluster, provided information about their collaborations with the Ontustik Organized Industrial Zone in Chimkent. Noting that a Hoca Ahmet Yesevi (HAY) OSTİM liaison office has been opened in the Ontustik Organized Industrial Zone, Olanca emphasized that a HAY Ontustik liaison office also exists in OSTİM with the same mission. Olanca stated that they closely monitor collaboration opportunities through these liaison offices in both regions.

“We want to revitalize our relations”

Abubakirov Askar, ATAMEKEN Turkestan Province and Shymkent Director, emphasized the importance of OSTİM's presence in Shymkent. Reminding that Kazakhstan and Turkey are two friendly and brotherly countries, Askar stressed that these friendly and brotherly relations should be strengthened through bilateral cooperation and trade.

Askar stated that they wanted to increase cooperation and trade volume between the regions and between the two countries, saying, “We want to revitalize our relations. By providing information about our region and our country to investors coming from Turkey and OSTİM, we can help them make fast, safe and correct investments.”

Askar stated that they could inform investors from OSTİM about investment support and opportunities in Kazakhstan, and provided information that the sectors with the highest need for investment in Kazakhstan are agriculture, energy, construction, furniture, plastics, and chemicals.

Following the meeting, the Kazakhstani delegation visited the OSTİM Medical Cluster Joint Showroom. They then toured companies operating in the region, gaining a close look at OSTİM's production capabilities.
