Aydın: "Women are more competitive in new generation jobs"

Speaking at the opening of the training program aimed at supporting women's employment, a collaboration between the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey and the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, OSTİM OSB Board Chairman Orhan Aydın said, “Lately, we have seen that women are more competitive in new generation jobs. They are always writing great success stories in every field, such as production, management, and export.”

Within the scope of the cooperation protocol signed between the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey and the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, training programs aimed at supporting women's employment are continuing.

Career Management and Communication Techniques Training was held at the Ministry. The opening of the training program was attended by the Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey, Leman Yenigün, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM, Orhan Aydın.

Speaking at the opening of the program, President Aydın pointed out that there can be no development and progress without production, and emphasized that women have always played a role in the business world through their production in our culture. Aydın noted that OSTİM, as a production hub, offers significant job opportunities for women in many areas.

President Aydın continued: “Lately, we have observed that women are more competitive in new generation jobs. They are consistently writing great success stories in every field, such as production, management, and export. Our ministry is also making serious efforts in this regard. As a region, we are ready to contribute voluntarily to these efforts.”

Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Turkey, Leman Yenigün, provided information about efforts to increase women's employment. Yenigün reminded the women participating in the training that they have opportunities to take active roles not only in office jobs but also in all processes of the business world.

During the program, participants received training on Interview Techniques and CV Preparation from Neslihan Günay, Coordinator of the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Employment Office, and training on Conflict Management and Communication Techniques from Prof. Dr. Ünsal Sığrı, Vice Rector of OSTİM Technical University.
