Temel Karamollaoğlu, the leader of the Felicity Party (SP), and his team conducted inspections in OSTİM. Karamollaoğlu and his delegation first visited OSTİM Technical University (OSTiMTECH). Meeting with Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek and OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın, the SP leader received information about academic studies. Touring the OSTiMTECH laboratories and robotics projects, Temel Karamollaoğlu also experienced a virtual reality application.

The leader of the Felicity Party, Temel Karamollaoğlu, was later hosted by the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone management. During his visit, he listened to presentations on clustering efforts in 7 different sectors and also examined Turkey's first 100% electric domestic metrobus, produced by Bozankaya A.Ş., a member of the Anatolian Rail Transportation Systems Cluster (ARUS).

The leader of the Felicity Party made the following remarks at the end of the visit:

“I was very pleased to see the university together in OSTİM. I always thought that for Turkey to develop and solve the problems it will face, especially in the field of technology, it needs the cooperation of industry and universities. We saw the best example of this here. They are doing excellent work at OSTİM Technical University. For these projects to progress faster and be more successful, serious resources need to be allocated to these institutions. Also, the administrators need to have a vision parallel to the vision of our colleagues who are working hard here, so that they can pave the way for them. Otherwise, if the path of enthusiastic and hardworking people is blocked by simple formalities, then nothing will be accomplished in Turkey.”

During this visit to OSTİM, together with Mr. Orhan, we brought together entrepreneurs working in different fields to create pools, enabling the work to be more perfected. This allows industrialists working in the same field, but in different parts of the same field, to consult with each other; this is one of the most important efforts Turkey needs to make to leap forward. I congratulate Mr. Orhan because he has created a model not only at the OSTİM level, but also at the Ankara level, and even at the national level.

Praise for the clusters

In Turkey, there are people everywhere, in different sectors, striving and trying to produce something, but either they don't want to come together because they are in competition with each other, or they are unaware of each other; they don't know how to meet their own needs. Through this effort, I've seen that it's beneficial for both Turkey and our international relations, and it brings together industrialists working in the same field, in different parts of the same field within Turkey. This increases efficiency and production. It's a project that will ensure the coordination of all industrialists operating in Turkey. I congratulate Mr. Orhan. He has taken this as an example on the OSTİM scale, presented it, and expanded it further. There's almost no field they haven't entered. Seeing this, we also realized that there is a need for minds that are 'crazy' in their field, that is, pushing the boundaries of existing limitations. And they are trying to find them. May God be their helper and guide. Thank you very much. I congratulate them; they have given me hope.”
