Indonesia is showing interest in the OSTİM model, which has caught the attention of countries aiming for development through industrial production. The Batang Industrial Park and Tanjungpinang Free Trade Zone in Indonesia have decided to initiate a cooperation process with OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone regarding the transfer of the OSTİM model.
Indonesia is also interested in the OSTİM Model.

Indonesia's Batang and Tanjungpinang Industrial Zones met online with OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager Adem Arıcı to exchange information regarding the transfer of the OSTİM model to their country.

Following the trade delegation program organized by OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster (OSTİM ENERJİK) to Indonesia, Indonesian public and private sector representatives, who continued their contacts to obtain detailed information about OSTİM, brought up the issue of cooperation with OSTİM on the industrial zone model.

The online meeting held with OSTİM OSB Regional Manager Adem Arıcı regarding the transfer of the OSTİM model was attended by Kartika Listriana, Director of Industrial Zones at the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia; Darianto Harsono, Consul General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in Istanbul; Yudhi Ardian, Economic Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ankara; İhsan Fansuri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tanjungpinang Free Trade Zone; Ngurah Wirawan Angga, President of Batang Industrial Park; and Mustafa Ay, OSTİM ENERJİK Project Manager.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached with Ngurah Wirawan Angga, the head of Batang Industrial Park, to begin work on establishing a pilot Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) suitable for the OSTİM ecosystem on an area of 500 hectares by the end of 2025, and to transfer know-how.

Tanjungpinang Free Trade Zone Board Chairman Ihsan Fansuri also requested technical consultancy services regarding the transfer of OSTIM Organized Industrial Zone's management and clustering system.

OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager Adem Arıcı stated that they would be pleased to contribute to the development of friendly and brotherly country Indonesia through knowledge sharing based on the OSTİM model. Arıcı invited the delegation to OSTİM.

The Indonesian delegation decided to visit OSTİM next April and initiate a cooperation process with an agreement focused on the export of knowledge based on the OSTİM model.

The meeting also decided to establish reciprocal trade desks between OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, Batang Industrial Park, and Tanjungpinang Free Trade Zone. OSTİM ENERJİK will be part of the trade desk to be established in the energy sector.
