The opening ceremony of the fair was attended by the Congress Scientific Committee Chairman Prof. Abdulkerim Yörükoğlu, İŞİM Cluster Board Chairman Dr. Ayşe Saraçoğlu, Ankara Chamber of Commerce President Gürsel Baran, Ankara Chamber of Industry Board Chairman Seyit Ardıç, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone President Orhan Aydın; and from abroad, Minister of Mines, Environment and Sustainable Development of DRCONGO-Lualaba Province Wamana Tanda Nicodème, Deputy Minister of Economy of Kosovo Getoar Mjeku, Minister of Economy of Macedonia Besar Durmuşi, Minister of Industry of Gabon François Mbongo Rafemo Bourdette and Deputy Minister of Energy Sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Admir Softic.
Speaking at the fair's opening, Dr. Ayşe Saraçoğlu, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of İŞİM (Turkish Construction Machinery Manufacturers Association), drew attention to Ankara's strategic role in Turkey's construction and industrial machinery sector. Saraçoğlu stated that Ankara is a significant logistical hub thanks to its geographical advantages, meeting the growing demand for mining and construction projects across Turkey, while its production facilities make a substantial contribution to the Turkish economy through exports. She also emphasized that universities and research institutions in Ankara support innovation and R&D efforts, and that trends such as digitalization and sustainability enhance the competitiveness of companies in the sector. Saraçoğlu concluded by stating that Ankara will continue to maintain its potential as a national and international exhibition center in this field.
Held in both indoor and outdoor areas of ATO Congresium, the fair featured over 100 companies showcasing the latest innovations in the sector. Approximately 7500 visitors attended the event. Furthermore, significant agreements were laid through B2B business meetings involving international participants. The sessions held throughout the fair were followed with great interest by attendees.
