OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın stated that they came together with those who live, produce, and work in OSTİM to discuss the problems and future of the region. Aydın said, “We want our participants to share their knowledge, experience, and wisdom with us and contribute to the solution of our problems. We really need the guidance of our participants.”
OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager Adem Arıcı stated that they had planned for participants from all sectors representing OSTİM to attend the meeting. Arıcı presented the 2022 activities and the 2023 work plan.
In the working groups formed under the moderation of OSTİM Technical University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ünsal Sığrı, the participants' views and requests were received on the following topics: Urban Planning and Infrastructure, Environment, Security, Cleaning, Electricity and Natural Gas, Press, Promotion and Customer Relations, Clusters, Vocational and Technical Education, Employment, Foreign Trade and Export, Industry-University Cooperation, Technopark, Digitalization and Green Transformation, Project Support Office, Competitive and Innovative Projects.
Executives from Uzbekistan's Ohangaron Tech Industrial, which has signed an agreement with OSTİM regarding the establishment and operation of an Organized Industrial Zone and has begun its work, also attended the meeting. Ohangaron Tech Industrial General Manager Jamshid Khidoyatov said, "We gained new experiences by participating in the consultation meeting. We want to learn all of OSTİM's experience."
