OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Orhan Aydın and OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Manager Adem Arıcı visited the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Ankara, Alisher Agzamkhodjaev.
OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Orhan Aydın explained that they share OSTİM's experience with more than 20 countries in order to contribute to the development of the Turkish and Islamic world. Aydın stated that they provided consultancy services in the design and management of the Ohangaron Industrial Zone in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, adding, "Our interest in Uzbekistan has increased even more. We made a presentation to the Governor of Tashkent regarding the establishment of a new Organized Industrial Zone."
“OSTİM’s experience is indispensable for us”
Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Ankara, Alisher Agzamkhodjaev, stated that he is well acquainted with OSTİM and that delegations from Uzbekistan always visit OSTİM.
Highlighting Turkey's experience with Organized Industrial Zones (OSBs), the Ambassador stated: “OSTİM's experience is very important for us. Our President has requested the establishment of industrial zones based on the OSTİM model. OSTİM's experience and consultancy are indispensable for us. We want to strengthen our relations with you and meet more frequently. Your experience and expertise are important to us. We want to organize an Uzbek-Turkish cooperation forum by the end of the year. Your participation would be very welcome.”
Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Ankara, Alisher Agzamkhodjaev, presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM, for OSTİM's work in Uzbekistan and its contributions to the development of relations between the two countries.
OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın also presented the Ambassador with a copy of the book "The Lost Enlightenment: From the Arab Conquests to Timur - The Golden Age of Central Asia," written by American author S. Frederick Starr, which recounts Central Asia's world-renowned development in science and technology.
