TESK President Bendevi Palandöken, along with TESK Vice Presidents Burhan Aksak and Fevzi Apaydın, visited OSTİM.
Palandöken, commenting on the visit which included OSTİM Deputy Chairman Sıtkı Öztuna, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Board Member Behzat Zeydan, OSTİM Technical University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serdar Müldür, OSTİM Foreign Relations Coordinator Hamza Akca, and OSTİM Foundation Director Gülnaz Karaosmanoğlu, said: “OSTİM is the foundation of everything, the foundation of trade; a high-quality, international industry representing the traditions of the Ahi culture. Therefore, without the small, there is no big. I would like to express my gratitude to the tradesmen and artisans who are striving to make this even bigger, and to everyone who has served here. May God grant mercy to those who have passed away, and may God grant long lives to those who are still alive.”
“OSTİM is our stakeholder”
Bendevi Palandöken, describing OSTİM as "a very beautiful creation," shared the following views: "It was always dreamed of; could Ankara have industry, tourism, and healthcare sectors? The only thing that existed was a university. Therefore, today, OSTİM Technical University has been established at the most delicate point of the institutional structure. Things that were unimaginable until yesterday are being done today. OSTİM Technical University is a university that fulfills its purpose. This university will develop professional competence; it is a technical university. It will now be a place that will build and operate machinery from scratch, establish factories, and provide employment. OSTİM is our stakeholder. Both TESK and OSTİM will work together on joint projects that will benefit our country, our nation, and our community."
I would like to thank Mr. Orhan Aydın for his hospitality. Since I already know you well, I hope that everything you do will be fruitful and successful. I would also like to thank the esteemed OSTİM management and staff.”
OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın also said the following at the program: “On behalf of all our industrialists and tradesmen in OSTİM, I thank you for your visit to our region. The structure here dates back to 1967. Its founders perfectly fit your description; OSTİM is a region formed by tradesmen and artisans. The late Cevat Dündar Kırşehirli was raised with a true Ahi culture.”
Aydın stated that they would be pleased to develop collaborations between OSTİM and TESK and participate in joint projects.
Palandöken later visited Ostim Technopark Inc. and OSTİM Technical University and received information about their work.
