Stating that they have started knowledge and technology transfer efforts in the field of industrialization, Bashir Aden Ali, Chief Advisor to the President of Somalia, noted that they wanted to get to know OSTİM closely and develop cooperation opportunities.
The African bureaucrat stated that they closely follow industrial developments in Turkey, and pointed out that the construction of nuclear power plants demonstrates the level of industrial development Turkey has reached.
Yahya Ismail Mohamed, the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Hirsahabelle State, emphasized their desire to address shortcomings in industrialization and education. Minister Mohamed stated that they need technical support to operate their existing textile machinery.

OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın said, “We consider Somalia a friendly and brotherly country. We are looking for opportunities to do whatever we can. Our region consists of small and medium-sized enterprises. OSTİM has all the resources and capabilities you can imagine for establishing a city. We are ready to share our expertise with Somalia.”
"If we are shown the right points of contact, we will wholeheartedly work to transfer our expertise to Somalia. At Ostim Technical University, we can offer opportunities for students from Somalia to receive education. By educating these students, we can enable them to produce what their country needs within their own country," he said.
