With the support of the Russian Federation Ministry of Economic Development and within the scope of the Presidential Administrative Staff Training Program, Russian businesspeople from 25 companies participated in bilateral business meetings with OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone businesspeople at the first stop of their visit to Turkey.
Speaking at the opening of the program, Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, drew attention to the long-standing neighborly relations between Turkey and Russia and emphasized the importance of developing cooperation. Aydın noted that the OSTİM model could be implemented in Russia by pairing OSTİM with an industrial zone, a technopark, and a university in Russia.
Fatin Dağçınar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Medical Industry Cluster, provided information about the contacts the cluster has been conducting with institutions in Russia, specifically in the medical sector.
Karseka Sergey Ivanovich, Rector's Advisor at the Russian State University of Management, noted that the Management Personnel Training Program has been run by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development for 25 years. Ivanovich stated that they have been visiting OSTİM for the past three years as part of the program, expressing their satisfaction with their previous visits.
Highlighting the strategic cooperation between Russia and Turkey at the presidential level, Karseka Sergey Ivanovich also recalled the cooperation in the fields of natural gas and nuclear power plants, saying, "The aim of our visit is to expand high-level strategic cooperation to a sectoral level."
Following bilateral business meetings in the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, the delegation visited companies located in OSTİM.
