Ostim Technopark, within the scope of the Ankara Development Agency's Direct Activity Support, held a workshop for the 'Feasibility Study Project for the Establishment of a Shared Use Workshop'. The workshop was attended by OSTIM executives, as well as company officials, entrepreneurs, academics, artists, educators from the energy, medical, software, IT, design, defense, and mechatronics sectors, and officials from the Ankara Development Agency and the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.

In the workshop moderated by Kazım Yalçınoğlu, the machinery and equipment that should be present in the workshop, the workshop's operating model, and the training, services, and events to be offered in the workshop were evaluated, and opinions were shared to be used in the feasibility study.

Support will be provided to the innovation economy.

Providing information about the current status of the project and planned activities, Ostim Technopark General Manager Derya Çağlar emphasized that they are a thematic technopark. Stating that they want to help create an innovation economy in Ankara, Çağlar conveyed the message, "We want to direct our existing production areas in OSTİM a little more towards the innovation economy."

Stating that they want to activate niche production on a commercial scale, Çağlar pointed out that they want to make a difference in high value-added, advanced technology fields. “We want to expand clean technology research, application, and investments,” said Çağlar, continuing: “When we look at the share of energy in imports, increasing the awareness and effectiveness of clean technology will be quite appropriate. We want to provide an economic and educational benefit to Ankara and Turkey and develop new financing models.”
