The 21st century will be the century of the Turkic world.

Participating in the Central Asia Program organized by the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Directorate, the Chairman of the National Education Commission of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and Ankara Member of Parliament, Prof. Dr. Emrullah İşler, conveyed the following message to his counterparts during his contacts in Uzbekistan: “The 21st century will be the century of the Turkic world. OSTİM is the right address; develop your relations with this address. It is necessary to act accordingly and continue on the path decisively.”

The OSTİM delegation continued its contacts in Uzbekistan as part of its Central Asia Program. The delegation visited the Furniture and Foreign Trade Cluster, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, and the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Tashkent.

Mukhtar Umarov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Uzbekistan Furniture and Wood Cluster, requested cooperation, saying, "We want to benefit from your experience."

OSTIM Chairman Orhan Aydın also stated that they are ready to support the Furniture and Wood Cluster in terms of vocational training, planning and establishment of industrial zones.

OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager Adem Arıcı stated that OSTİM will begin work on establishing an industrial zone in Uzbekistan.

The embassy's doors are open to investors.

The OSTİM delegation, visiting Olgan Bekar, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Tashkent, received information about business and investment opportunities in Uzbekistan. Ambassador Bekar stated that Uzbekistan has significant potential and emphasized that the embassy's doors are open to investors and that they are ready to provide support. He also pointed out the need for skilled workers in Uzbekistan, highlighting the potential for OSTİM Technical University to conduct research in this area.

OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın, drawing attention to the historical ties between the two countries, said that they would be pleased to share the expertise within the OSTİM ecosystem with Uzbekistan.

The OSTİM delegation included the Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly's National Education Commission and Ankara Member of Parliament, Prof. Dr. Emrullah İşler, the Rector of OSTİM Technical University, Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek, and industrialists.

Uzbek Minister requests cooperation in the industrial sector

Continuing their program, the OSTİM delegation met with Laziz Kudratov, First Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan.

The visit was attended by the Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly National Education Commission, Prof. Dr. Emrullah İşler, the Chairman of the OSTİM Board of Directors, Orhan Aydın, the Member of the Board of Trustees of OSTİM Technical University, Hasan Hüseyin Coşkun, the Rector of OSTİM Technical University, Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek, the Member of the Board of Directors of ASELSAN, Prof. Dr. Turan Erol, and the Regional Manager of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, Adem Arıcı, along with the Deputy Minister's bureaucrats.

The Deputy Minister noted that they had completed the legislative work for the industrial zone they planned to build in his country. Kudratov stated, "Welcome to your homeland. We are exploring how we can create an industrial zone like OSTİM together with you. Let's identify a focus area and work on that. Let's cooperate in establishing a furniture industrial zone. We also ask for your support in improving the existing industrial areas in our country."

OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın also stated that they could share their expertise in the establishment of industrial zones, saying, "You can create an ecosystem, and your new industrial zone can become competitive. Government support is crucial in industrial planning."

OSTİM Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek also introduced the institution and invited Uzbek students to study at OSTİM Technical University in Turkey.
