The OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Directorate continues to reward businesses that comply with legal regulations, create a healthy and safe working environment, and produce in a way that is sensitive to its employees and the environment, and that adhere to the Organized Industrial Zones Law No. 4562, the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, and environmental criteria, with certificates of appreciation. The certificates were presented to the firms identified by the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Business Opening and Operating License Directorate, with the participation of OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın and OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Director Adem Arıcı.
"The quality of companies is improving"
OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın emphasized that the quality of companies in OSTİM is increasing day by day. Reminding that the environment has further improved with the revised zoning plan, Aydın said, “As the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Management, we also give a certificate of appreciation to our companies that demonstrate good practice. To encourage, advance, and raise awareness, our licensing officers identify companies that are particularly environmentally conscious, have a quality mindset, and pay attention to waste management, and we present them with a certificate of appreciation. By increasing the number of such companies, we aim to make OSTİM a sustainable industrial zone in the future. The criteria used to identify companies receiving the Certificate of Appreciation include environmental awareness, implementation of our new zoning plan regulations, clean, tidy, and high-quality product production, etc.”
The companies that received certificates of appreciation also expressed their satisfaction with the program, emphasizing that they gained the necessary morale, motivation, and encouragement to further improve their businesses.
The OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Business Opening and Operating License Directorate evaluates business opening and license applications from companies wishing to operate in the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone. Simultaneously, it conducts inspections of existing companies according to the Occupational Health and Safety Law and environmental criteria.
