Within the scope of the Organized Industrial Zone Vocational Training Centers Project, and coordinated by the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Directorate to meet the need for qualified workforce in the industry, students who participated in the Vocational Training Course in the field of Electrical-Electronics at OSTİM Şehit Alper Zor Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and in the field of CNC at Yenimahalle Şehit Mehmet Şengül Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School successfully graduated.
A graduation ceremony was held at the OSTİM OSB Conference Hall for the 22 students who completed the course. The ceremony was attended by OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın, Yenimahalle District National Education Director Veli Karakuş, OSTİM OSB Board Members, OSTİM OSB Regional Manager Adem Arıcı, OSTİM External Relations Coordinator Hamza Akca, OSTİM Şehit Alper Zor Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Principal Tuncay Uçar, Yenimahalle Şehit Mehmet Şengül Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Principal Bayram Arslanoğlu, teachers, and industrialists.
“He became a role model”
OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager Adem Arıcı stated that they quickly started working following the cooperation protocol on vocational and technical education signed between the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
Arıcı described the work being carried out in OSTİM as follows: “We have started working to meet the need for qualified personnel in the CNC and Electrical-Electronics fields for our industrialists. We have started our courses with OSTİM Şehit Alper Zor Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Yenimahalle Şehit Mehmet Şengül Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.”
We matched companies with trainees. Our trainees graduated with excellent grades. We didn't leave our trainees alone. We were constantly by their side throughout their training. Our trainees are very valuable to both us and our companies.
22 of our trainees graduated from the Vocational Training Course, having received training for 1 day at school and 5 days in the workshop. We envisioned vocational training being provided at the outset of employment. This has become an exemplary model for us. Going forward, we aim to expand the scope of the program and increase these numbers.”
“We are filled with pride”
Tuncay Uçar, the principal of OSTİM Şehit Alper Zor Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, shared the following views: “We are proud to have contributed 22 of our students to industry and production. The OSTİM management provided us with all the necessary resources. We matched our trainees with employers. I would also like to thank our industrialists. We are sending off our trainees with both a vocational high school diploma and a master craftsman certificate.”
"They will do successful work."
Bayram Arslanoğlu, the principal of Yenimahalle Şehit Mehmet Şengül Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, drew attention to the need for technical personnel and thanked the companies supporting the course program and the OSTİM management. "I believe that by meeting this need, we will make a very significant contribution to high-tech production efforts," said the experienced educator, giving the following message to the graduates: "I believe that our graduates will patiently continue in their fields without leaving and will do successful work with higher salaries."
“OSTİM has always strived to create employment”
Yenimahalle District National Education Director Veli Karakuş said that he was proud to work in Yenimahalle and that he believed many great things would be accomplished there.
Drawing attention to the OSTİM and İvedik Organized Industrial Zones, Karakuş said, “Our vocational high schools are ready and waiting for our students with their well-equipped workshops and teachers. Most importantly, the environment in Yenimahalle will ensure that students graduating from these vocational high schools find employment.”

OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın expressed his satisfaction with the organization and completion of the Vocational Training Course, saying: “We are fortunate to have accomplished such a beneficial undertaking. We thank everyone who contributed to this project. We also wish our valuable trainees a bright future. Hopefully, their lives will take them to even better places from now on.”
