The Undersecretary of the Ugandan Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, accompanied by his delegation and the Ugandan Ambassador to Ankara, visited OSTİM (Osmaniye Organized Industrial Zones) in Turkey to examine Organized Industrial Zones and enhance cooperation in their development processes.

OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın noted that OSTİM stands out as the region that industrialized Ankara. Aydın stated, “There is an ecosystem here that operates vocational training, business establishment, growth, and development processes. In Africa, the white man's record is generally not clean. We Turks don't think the same way. We are different from others; we see people as friends and brothers, and we value cooperation. We need to discover each other. The team that will develop Uganda is in OSTİM. We have 8 students from Uganda at OSTİM Technical University, which is very important for us and for you. We will train our students within the framework of your expectations.”

Aydın emphasized that if OSTİM were paired with an Organized Industrial Zone, a Technopark, and a technical university in Uganda, lasting collaborations would begin.

Lynette Bagonza, Undersecretary of the Ugandan Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, highlighted the importance of relations between Turkey and Uganda, stating, "We are here to develop cooperation between Organized Industrial Zones, building on the excellent relations between our two countries."
