Gabon's Minister of Industry, François Mbongo Rafemo Bourdette, along with Gabon's Ambassador to Ankara, Jean Bernard Avouma, and their delegation, visited OSTİM.
During the visit, the Minister received information about OSTİM institutions and organizations and signed a memorandum of understanding to establish industrial zones in his country using the OSTİM model.
The memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation between the Gabon Ministry of Industry and OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, OSTİM Technical University, and OSTİM Technopark was signed by Gabon's Minister of Industry, François Mbongo Rafemo Bourdette, and OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager, Adem Arıcı.
The Gabonese minister stated that they plan to design two industrial zones to be established in their country based on examples from Turkey. Expressing his admiration for OSTİM, Minister Bourdette emphasized his satisfaction with signing the cooperation agreement, saying, "We are proud to bring the OSTİM Model to Gabon."
OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın stated that the Gabon Ministry of Industry could utilize OSTİM as a point of contact in industrial and trade relations with Türkiye.
The Gabonese delegation visited and inspected OSTİM Technical University, OSTİM Technopark, Dora Makina (a member of the OSTİM Defense and Aerospace Cluster), and Normmed (a member of the OSTİM Medical Industry Cluster).
Following the OSTİM program, the delegation visited the Construction and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Fair, organized at ATO Congresium with the support of the Construction and Industrial Machinery Cluster (İŞİM).
