OSTİM Chairman of the Board Orhan Aydın was a guest on OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone's Instagram live broadcast titled "The New Normal in Production and Industrialization".
Orhan Aydın stated that the coronavirus pandemic affected everyone individually and institutionally, saying, “The pandemic brought us much closer together. We hope that we have learned from this in our relationships with each other; that it will serve as a lesson for building a more livable, shareable world where we are more aware of each other.”
Aydın stated that everyone is conducting their meetings digitally due to the coronavirus pandemic, and emphasized that they are working on how OSTİM companies can benefit from digital platforms to increase their exports.
Aydın stated, "From now on, perhaps we need to seriously utilize these platforms to promote our products and showcase the products of companies without having to travel to other countries."

Orhan Aydın, also commenting on the topics OSTİM will focus on after the coronavirus pandemic, said, “I think we have tested whether the topics we are following are also relevant to the world of the future. The clustering topic is very important, e-commerce in this digital environment is very important, we need to develop these. We had virtual factory projects, we need to implement these quickly.”
Aydın also made statements regarding the role of OSTİM Technical University, which was established by the OSTİM Foundation in 2017.
Aydın stated that many new departments will be opened at OSTİM Technical University this year, adding, “These are departments that the OSTİM industrial zone and the Ankara industrial ecosystem need. We will bring them together with the industry and transform them in a way that will contribute to it.”
