Aydar Gaşigullin, Commercial Attaché of the Russian Embassy in Ankara, and Evgeniy Efrmov, Head of the Economic Section of the Trade Representation, met with Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM, and the management of the OSTİM Medical Industry Cluster.
“OSTİM is a professional Organized Industrial Zone”
Aydar Gaşigullin, the Russian Trade Counselor, pointed out that OSTİM is the best-known among the Organized Industrial Zones (OSBs) in Turkey. Aydar Gaşigullin stated: “OSTİM is a professional OSB, and it is growing day by day. The OSB model is a successful example in Türkiye and attracts foreign investors.”
Gaşigullin, explaining that they closely followed the development of the OSTİM Medical Industry Cluster, said, “Türkiye's development in the fields of hospitals, medical production, and health tourism has accelerated in recent years. Health is the future and is indispensable. You have the products and technologies that Russia needs. On the other hand, Russia also has technologies that it can share with Turkish manufacturers.”
Fatin Dağçınar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Medical Industry Cluster, provided information about the efforts they are undertaking to develop cooperation with Russia.
“Together we can accomplish great things”
OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın emphasized the potential for collaboration between OSTİM companies and Russia's technological capabilities. Aydın stated, "We can accomplish significant things together. We want to collaborate with a technopark and a university in Russia. Through these collaborations, we can implement technology transfer, joint production, and R&D projects."
