OSSA has launched its 4th URGE Project, supported by the Turkish Ministry of Economy. The new project, involving 30 companies, will be conducted under the title "Increasing International Competitiveness and Developing Export Capacity Alongside Domestic Production." Within the scope of the 4th URGE Project, training and consultancy services will be utilized at the highest level to enhance the institutionalization of the 30 participating companies.

OSSA Coordinator Ece Umay made statements about clustering and URGE projects at the opening meeting. Giving examples from past URGE projects, Umay explained that successful examples from previous projects were awarded twice by the Turkish Ministry of Economy and were shown as best practice examples.

During the meeting, where the needs analysis and roadmap were evaluated, the expectations, suggestions, and requests of the project participant companies were received. Examples of development observed in participating companies within the scope of other successfully completed URGE projects were also evaluated.

At the meeting, representatives from Global Piyasa, the company responsible for conducting the project's needs analysis, gave a presentation on the analysis process, market research, export, and e-commerce.

OSSA continues its activities with the aim of improving the exports of its members and increasing sales of value-added products. While nearly 50 members of the cluster export directly to various countries, many members also export indirectly to global defense and aerospace companies.
