What is First Aid Trainer Training?

First aid trainer training; Organized by organizations authorized by the Ministry of Health; It can be defined as a process in which participants are entitled to receive a first aid training certificate at the end of the training and are trained on how to transfer their theoretical knowledge to different participants.

DURATION OF TRAINING

Health Personnel attend the 5-day Basic First Aid information training program and if they are successful in the exam to be held at the end of the training, they participate in the 3-day First Aid applications training skill course program. Medical doctors, on the other hand, only participate in the 3-day First Aid Practices Training skill program. These trainings can be given by authorized centers that provide trainer training. The training period is 8 days.

For Medical Doctors;

Training Skills Training: 3 days

Total Time: 5 days

For Other Health Personnel;

(Medical doctors can also participate in this program.)

Standard First Aid Training: 5 days [40 hours]

First Aid Trainer Training: 3 days

Total Time: 5+3 days (8 working days)

Where to Get First Aid Instructor Certificate?

Institutions that issue first aid trainer certificates must be authorized by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Emergency Health Services.

How Long Is the First Aid Trainer Certificate Valid?

The duration of the authorization certificates of the persons who are entitled to be a first aid trainer is 5 years. They cannot serve as first aid trainers if they do not receive renewal training in the 3-month period after their authorization expires.

Not everyone has to take refresher training. If they document that they have given at least 15 trainings for 5 years, the certificates of the trainers will be renewed.
