CUPLOCK PIER (CUPLOCK PIER)

Due to the difficulty of the Tower Scaffolding construction, there was no company other than us that produced it. For this reason, cuplock scaffolding, in other words, cuplock scaffolding in its English form, was started to be used as a new carrier scaffolding system.

Cuplock pier makes the bottom of the mold like a forest. In addition, since the intermediate arms of the cupped pier are of fixed size, they do not fully comply with the dimensions of the floor concrete thicknesses. Cuplock scaffolding, which is used for culverts where the floor concrete is 50 cm, cannot be used when the concrete thickness is 100 cm.

Similarly, cuplock scaffolding used in culverts and bridges with a concrete thickness of 100 cm cannot be used when the thickness is 150 cm.

In addition, if the horizontal connections in the cuplock scaffold are not fully compressed with the cup, they will not have a safe carrier feature.

Important note: There have been many collapses in the cupped piers used under the viaduct heads. It has also been observed that the cupola pier collapsed in the construction of bridges and culverts. Nowadays, in normal building constructions with a concrete thickness of 25-30 cm, the collapse of the cupped scaffolding, which is used as a formwork scaffold, is experienced.

For this reason, cuplock scaffolding should not be purchased if its technical calculations are not trusted and there is no installation guide. It is not enough to buy cuplock scaffolding from big known companies. As a matter of fact, when investigated, it is seen that the majority of the collapsed cuplock piers belong to well-known companies.
