SHEET CONCRETE MOLD AND CURTAIN MOLDS

Sheet Concrete Mold And Curtaın Molds

Our company has undertaken the construction of bridges and viaducts as a direct subcontractor of BAYINDIR Construction on the İzmir-Çeşme Highway in order to better see the advantages and deficiencies in the use of our curtain formwork used in bridge concrete.

Final installation form of Curtain Concrete Formwork;

– Horizontal and vertical belt (military) elements of Panel Formworks
– Corner turns and feed pieces
– Curtain Mold Installation – Installation of Sheet Metal Panels
– Curtain Formwork Installation – Installation of Horizontal Supports (soldiers)
– Wall Formwork Installation – Installation of Vertical Supports and Struts Standard dimensions of our modular partial concrete curtain and wall formwork are: 50 x 100 cm, 50 x 150 cm, 50 x 200 cm. The standard size of garden wall molds is 100 x 150 cm. When desired, fiber or sheet metal patterns are added to the garden wall molds.

Our modular molds can be installed and dismantled one-by-one, or sheet metal panels can be installed together on the ground and lifted and used with a crane. In places where it is not possible to use a crane, it can be easily separated by using only a hammer, carried by hand and installed in desired dimensions.

Joining of sheet metal panels is done with panel locks. The panel lock is made of 16 mm iron in the form of a gooseneck. For this reason, panel locks are called gooseneck locks.

Vertical (support) reinforcement belts (soldiers) may be omitted if desired. In this case, it is necessary to increase the number of reinforcing belts of horizontal supports. The joining of sheet metal panels used in curtain wall, garden wall formwork and construction formwork is easily achieved with a gooseneck panel lock called technokanca, as mentioned above. Sheet metal panels are quickly installed and dismantled using only a hammer. The adjustable and tensioned struts shown in the figure are used to take the direction of the installed sheet metal molds. The ones that prevent the curtain molds from opening during concrete pouring are rods called bolts or tayrots. Our rods are 17 mm in diameter, which is a world standard, and have a load carrying capacity of 11,000 kg. The nuts of the rods, called butterfly, are made of ductile iron with special support. During the installation of sheet metal molds on shear walls, attention should be paid to the tightness of the nuts of the rods and to be connected with a panel lock every 20 cm.

Our reinforcement belts (soldiers) are of two types. Curtain mold height is 5 m. Up to 40 x 100 box profiles can be used. On higher shear walls, a reinforcement belt called "soldier" is made by bending and punching 4 mm sheet metal. Our reinforcement belts are welded back-to-back and with a rod passing through, as seen in the second figure on the right. Support clamps (Reinforcement belt hooks) are useful in the initial setup of the curtain formwork system, when the sheet metal forms on both sides of the curtain are not yet mutually connected with the rods. It enables the reinforcement belts to be connected to the sheet metal molds and to take the direction of the sheet metal molds. After the sheet metal formwork system is installed, it can be dismantled and used in another newly installed part.
