In the Annex-III of the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment and Matters Regarding Maintenance, Repair and Periodic Control, the inspection criteria, methods, periods of work equipment and the authorization of the persons who will carry out the inspection are described.
CKN Makina Mühendislik, meets the requirements of the regulation with its expert inspection personnel, looks at the enterprises as a third eye in an independent and impartial manner and reports its experience and the status of your equipment according to the relevant standards.
Unless otherwise specified in the standards, lifting and conveying equipment shall be capable of lifting and suspending at least 1.25 times the declared load effectively and safely, and they have sufficient load brakes to withstand this load. It is marked so that the declared maximum load is visible for lifting vehicles to be used below its capacity. In cases where a weight above the declared load is to be lifted, the lifting vehicle cannot be used without being tested within the framework of the above-mentioned criteria based on the amount of the load to be lifted. (Declared load is the maximum weight to be lifted on the lifting vehicle declared by the employer.)
If it is not determined by the manufacturer, the periodic control of the work equipment is carried out at intervals to be determined according to the results of the risk assessment to be made, taking into account factors such as the workplace environment conditions, frequency of use and duration of use.
In the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment, the criteria and periods for periodic controls are specified as follows:

(1) The test load must be at least 1.25 times the declared load in the static test to be carried out during the periodic controls of the cranes, and at least 1.1 times in the dynamic test.
(2) Stability test for lifting equipment other than mobile lifting equipment is carried out in accordance with the criteria specified in the relevant standards, when necessary.
(3) For lifting vehicles to be used below its capacity, the declared maximum load is marked so that it can be seen. In cases where a weight above the declared load is to be lifted, the lifting vehicle cannot be used without being tested within the framework of the above-mentioned criteria based on the amount of the load to be lifted. (Declared load is the maximum weight to be lifted on the lifting vehicle declared by the employer.)
(4) In the periodic control of lifting and conveying equipment equipped with an electronic control system, persons authorized to carry out periodic controls in machinery and electrical branches take charge together.
(5) Standards related to elevators; It is taken into account in workplaces outside the scope of the Elevator Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 31/1/2007 and numbered 26420.
(6) Periodic inspections of the piers are carried out by civil and mechanical engineering and architecture graduates from engineering and architecture faculties, technical teachers, mechanical and construction technicians or high technicians graduated from the department of construction, construction, machinery or metal education, and a shipbuilding engineer in shipbuilding works.
(7) Scaffolds are marked so that the maximum load they can carry is visible.
(*) For the periodic control criteria, the standards specified in the table are given as an example, and the relevant standards that are not mentioned here or published after the publication date of the Regulation should also be taken into account. For the standards, the scope of which is not limited to periodic control, the provisions regarding periodic control will be applied, tests and tests for manufacturing will not be applied.
