Working conditions and durations cause wear, deterioration, decrease in efficiency, environmental pollution and occupational accidents of lifting vehicles, pressure vessels and electrical equipment used in enterprises. These devices can be prolonged by regular maintenance, but periodic controls are indispensable to determine whether the devices are working safely or not. In all developed countries, the periods of these controls, how and by whom they will be carried out are determined by the laws.

Published in the Official Gazette dated 25.04.2013 and numbered 28628; Periodic control periods and control criteria of pressure equipment and lifting vehicles are specified in the table in ANNEX-3 of the Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment. According to this regulation, controls must be made by Mechanical Engineers, Mechanical Technicians or Mechanical High Technicians.
