Basic Principles

Ventilation systems consist of 2 main bases:
♦ Air "Intake" systems: used to supply clean or conditioned air to living spaces.
♦ "Evacuation" systems: cleans the used air, transfers it to the outside and creates a healthy environment.

Air Supply Systems

These systems can be used for two purposes;
♦ To create a comfortable environment in the living area.
♦ It is used to provide continuous circulation of dirty air and clean air.
In many cases, air intake systems and control systems must be used together, as with dilution control systems.
A well-designed air intake system formation;
♦ Air inlet.
♦ Filters.
♦ Heating and/or cooling equipment
♦ Drying/humidifying equipment to facilitate breathing.
♦ Ducts and louvers/grills used to distribute air in the working environment.
