Glass wool
It is formed as a result of melting locally supplied inorganic raw materials at 1200ºC – 1250ºC and turning them into fibers.
It can be produced in different sizes and technical features, with different coating materials, in the form of mattresses, plates, pipes and casts, depending on the place and purpose of use.
It provides fire safety together with heat insulation, sound insulation and acoustic arrangement.
The thermal conductivity declared value is λ≤0.040/mK.
The water vapor diffusion resistance factor is µ=1.
Usage temperature is between -50 / +250ºC. Binder-free glass wool products can be used up to 500°C. In addition, special glass wool products used in the range of -200 / +400ºC can also be produced.
Even if it is exposed to heat and humidity, its dimensions do not change.
It does not deteriorate over time, does not rot, does not hold mold, does not corrode and rust. It is not destroyed by insects and microorganisms.
It is not hygroscopic and capillary.
Uncoated glasswool products are in A1 class, which is “non-combustible materials” according to TS EN 13501-1.
It is produced under the TEL License of Saint – Gobain Isover, France.
It is produced in facilities that have ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 50001 Energy Management System Certificates issued by bVQI.
Izocam Glasswool products, which are subject to TS EN 13162 Standard, have the CE mark within the framework of Construction Materials Regulation (305/2011/EU).
