WHAT IS MEMBRANE?

Bitumen-based waterproofing membrane is produced with a mixture obtained by modifying high-quality bitumen with plastomeric or elastomeric polymer additives. As the resistance against high and low temperatures is increased as a result of modification of bitumen with polymeric additives, it can be easily applied in hot or cold environments. Modified bitumen is suitable It is impregnated with fiberglass or polyester felt and laminated with polyethylene film, polyethylene film-aluminum foil, polyethylene film-mineral stone on both sides.

In general terms, bitumen-based waterproofing membranes provide waterproofing of concrete surfaces, retaining walls, terraces, concrete roofs, wet floors, highway viaducts, under the ground. Torch or hot asphalt is used in membrane application.
