WHAT IS XPS

They are foam materials produced and used for thermal insulation. The raw material of XPS is polystyrene. Thanks to computer-controlled production, extremely smooth and stable cell structures are obtained. Since the cells are connected to each other from all sides, air is trapped inside the cells. In this way, Extruded Polystyrene materials (XPS) do not absorb water and are not affected by moisture. With still dry air; The most perfect thermal insulation is provided. The surface of the produced material is configured as a flat or rough surface in line with the needs of the place where the material will be applied.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN XPS AND EPS

The difference with EPS is that while EPS is in a particulate structure, XPS displays a closed-pored form similar to honeycomb. this ensures that especially the water absorption values and compressive strengths are better in favor of xps.
